Five links demonstrating that Ilhan Omar is a terrorist sympathizer
Following is a brief collection of links, which when put together make a strong case demonstrating that Ilhan Abdullahi Omar, U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 5th congressional district, sympathizes with Islamist terrorist organizations.
When nine Minnesota men charged with planning to join the ISIS were scheduled to be sentenced, Representative Ilhan Omar sent a letter to the judge requesting “compassion” and a “restorative approach to justice”. Her letter contained the following excerpt: “The desire to commit violence is not inherent to people -- it is the consequences of systematic alienation.” The fact that these young men were attracted to the ISIS was blamed on society, more specifically, U.S. society. This argument is standard justification for terrorists in Western nations.
In response to Syed Farook’s December 2015 shooting rampage in San Bernardino, CA, in which 14 people were killed and 22 injured, the Minnesota House of Representatives passed a bill enabling insurance companies to limit life insurance payments to beneficiaries of suspected terrorists. Two representatives cast “nay” votes, and Ilhan Omar was one of them.
In this tweet, Ilhan Omar voiced called for the election of more candidates possessing the same “moral clarity and courage” as U.S. Representative Barbara Lee (D-CA). The reference to clarity and courage was based on the fact that Lee was, on September 14, 2001, the only member of Congress to vote "No" on the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Terrorists, which authorized President George W. Bush to initiate the War on Terror.
In an interview, Omar says that Barack Obama's “hope and change” was only a mirage, recalling the “caging of kids” at the southern border and the “droning of countries around the world” while Obama was President. Beyond any reasonable doubt, that is a reference to U.S. drone strikes targeting the jihadist Al-Shabaab in Somalia, Ilhan Omar's native homeland. In that interview, Omar added this to her expression of disappointment in Obama's presidency: “We don’t want anybody to get away with murder because they are polished.”
On June 17, 2019, former Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi (Muslim Brotherhood) collapsed during an Egyptian court session, and was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Suspicions regarding his death are explained in the link. Regardless of the conditions surrounding his death, why should this event in particular have drawn the keen interest of a U.S. Representative from the State of Minnesota, if she doesn't sympathize with the Muslim Brotherhood cause?
The Muslim Brotherhood was declared a terrorist group by Egypt's military-backed government on December 25, 2013.
